I’m writing a paper about Buddha…help please?!?





i'm writing a history essay about buddha and ive looked in my text book and on a bunch of different websites online but i cannot seem to find out about the buddhist government. like for example how is it structured, how many leaders does it have and how are those leaders chosen? thanks soo much to all of you who have taken the time to answer this, i really appreciate youre help! By the way, this is NOT cheating, i just need some guidance. THANKS :)

    There is no buddhist government and he didn’t really have any ideas to a government. He probably would think its a useless idea. I mean if you think about it tibet was a country completely run by buddhism and there really wasn’t much of a government in place and as such they were easily run out of tibet when china attacked.If anything you’d just have to look at government in countries where there is buddhism but its not derived from buddhism, because buddhists its not like they’re anti-government they just have better things to do.Seriously.

    Buddha didn’t construct a government. He became enlightened and founded a religion and philosophy of peace and ending suffering for all beings.Perhaps thats where you are confused.:D

    bhutan is a kingdom that Buddha is a official religion ( i do not know right now ). Nepal, before Communist take over. Thailand also a buddhist, but not official although the King is a Buddhist believer.
