What are some good Colleges for me?

I want to be a doctor. To do that I need to major in premed (I know it's not a major, but a series of classes, but bear with me), and I'm hoping that the following will help me get into a good college, but I'd like to know a decent list of colleges that are challenging and will get me into a good med school. The majors I am looking at are:CalculusBiology I am still open to thoughts of majors that seem good for me judging by my scores.Scores from what I have now:SAT Subject Test Math I: 640SAT Subject Test Math II:660SAT Reasoning Test: (Highest Scores out of the two times I have taken it)Critical Reading: 530Math: 680Writing: 560 (scored an 8 on my essay)ACT Composite: 30ACT English: 25ACT Math: 35ACT Reading: 32ACT Science: 27ACT Writing: 22GPA is about a 4.0 (give or take .1)Straight A's with only a B in EnglishThe "clubs" I am associated with so far, (I'm a senior in public High School) include Peer Leadership, French National Honor Society, and National Honor Society. I am joining the science club this year incase that helps.I am certified for Basic First Aid and CPR, and I took Mini-Medical School Classes if that helps at all.My community services include 39 hours of me teaching at a Vacation Bible School over the summer, 4 hours of me being dressed in a Bob the Builder costume for my county's Touch A Truck, 3 hours of me being a Train Assistant in Winter Wonderland, and 35 hours of volunteering at my communities' hospital.I know my scores on my Critical Reading and Writing for the SATs are low, and I'm planning on taking my last SAT soon, which I have really prepared for. Any choices of colleges that are at the same time challenging, but not too hectic, so I can still enjoy the college experience, will be extremely appreciated, thank you in advanced.

You have a great resume. You can look at some top schools–here are the top 10 pre-med schools measured by the number of medical school applications:UCLAUC BerkeleyU MichiganUT AustinUF GainesvilleUCSDHarvardUW MadisonUVAU Illinois Urbana-ChampaignStanford.You have a good shot at all of those–except Harvard and Stanford are both stretches.Other colleges with top Bio/Chem/Pre-Med programs that are on the East Coast (ie. around 400 miles away) (note: Boston is about 200 miles away from NY–just so you have a frame of reference):U PittJohns Hopkins (one of the best)NYUU PennCornellUVAEmoryColumbiaBrown (they have a BS/MD program)Rice and Wash U are very good, but they’re farther away.

Add Chemical Engineering to your list of possible Majors. It’s easy to slot in pre-med courses, and this is a good profession if you do not get accepted into Medical School.Your resume is good, but not great. Elite schools would probably turn you down unless you are black. Here are some superior schools 300~400 miles away that would probably admit you.University of RochesterRochester Institute of TechnologySUNY-BinghamtonUniversity of DelawareLehighPenn StateDrexelVirginia Polytechnic
