I would Prefers to 3 Or 4gb is enough

You have plenty of hard drive space. However, for the tasks you’ve specified, you might find 1GB very slow, especially considering it’s a new laptop.1GB is the minimum required to run Windows 7, so running this operating system is going to take a considerable chunk out of the memory anyway. If you’re gonna be doing schoolwork using Office and listening to some tracks on iTunes, or just multitasking in general, the laptop will struggle with only 1GB.To “futureproof” your laptop (that is, to make it last for a few years before you think about replacing it) it would be best to spend about £150/$250 more and buy a full size notebook with either 3GB or 4GB. Just make sure that if you do buy a laptop with 4GB or more it has Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, as 32-bit will only support up to 3GB.Hope this helped!

1GB is fine for what you’re doing, but if it’s in your budget, get 2GB if you can. Your HDD seems enough.

It should be okay until you said videos the problem is videos can take a high connection speed for the playback to be smooth and sometimes high ram. I don’t even know if you can upgrade past one gb on a netbook but it should be fine for school work. (ugh I hate that word ”school”)

For watching videos on internet 1.0 Gb is not sufficient. Make it 3.0 GB or if possible 4.0 Gb and every thing will work fine. RAM modules are very affordably priced now a days. Also you can add them easily afterwards also.
