Is drawing or sketching of a photograph a type of primary source?

I am currently doing an essay on The Daintree Rainforest. I can't go there to take photographs and I don't know anyone who has been there.Could someone please give me some ideas on obtaining a primary source? If I draw or sketch a photograph, will it consider as a primary source?

If you want your sketch to be any type of source you must draw from experience… if you go to the rain forest and draw the sketch from what you see then that would be a primary source and your experience would be a primary source, YOU would be the primary source… you can’t just make up a sketch, and if you do it from a photo then the photo is the secondary source and your sketch is pointless… find someone online who has been there and send them questions about it in an email, that interview with a person who went there is a primary source..
