    Try writing about how each person brings a unique character and set of problems to the story.

    The characters that Chaucer presents have qualities that we possess to some extent. I think that we, as readers, should value the diversity because they in a sense represent us. The Knight and his bravery. The Miller and his crude comedy. The Wife and her lust or physical desires. We may not be exactly like all characters, but we do (like a said) possess each characteristic to some extent.
