Can somone give me some literary criticism for Donne poetry on Renaissance vs Medieval beliefs?

I'm writing an essay and I'm comparing Marlowe's Doctor Faustus with Donne poetry, and I know that their writing reflects the battle between Renaissance and Medieval beliefs but I need a literary criticism to support it, and refering to Donne in my essay to get good marks! Any help? It doesn't even have to be a known critic, just leave your name and you can be a critic?! Thanks if anyone can help!

I don’t think what you wrote is very clear.I don’t know that this writing reflects a battle between Renaissance and Medieval beliefs. In fact, I’m not sure even what that means. If you want to make a claim like that you need to explain exactly what you mean, and what evidence you are using from history or from the texts to justify it.One thing Donne was concerned about, which maybe is related to this is the idea of “true religion.” He was concerned that people did not think enough about what their beliefs were, and he encouraged people to think about their religious beliefs instead of taking them according to what they were told. This is an article arguing for John Donne’s Calvinist influences [external link] this will also help you [external link]
