What are my chances of getting a full scholarship to Rutgers?

First of all I'd like to thank all of you for reading this and possibly answering it. Second of all, none of this is meant to brag, my scores are pretty good but not excellent and i know that. Third of all, my EFC is $60,000 so no help from FAFSA, now, on to the narrative/score list.I just finished my Junior Year in high school and have accumulated the following scoresSAT I- 2300 total (i mixed and matched 2 SATs because i did terrible on the first one in writing but got it up 170 points in the second one) Reading- 750 Writing- 750 Multiple Choice 68/80 Essay 12/12 Math-800SAT II: United States History- 680 Biology M- 720 Math II- 790 (it was surprisingly hard)ACT: Composite- 34 English- 32 Essay- 8/12 Combined English/Writing- 29 (terrible i know) Reading- 33 Science- 34 Math- 36AP Tests already taken (no scores yet but all are expectantly 4s or 5s) Biology Calculus BC Psychology United States HistoryAP classes that will be taken next year (again, reasonably expecting all 4s and 5s) Physics C Chemistry Language Composition (English) Probability and Statistics The preceding were my strong points, now, my weak pointsGPA unweighted- 3.52GPA weighted- ~4.0 (not exactly sure but within .03 of this at worst)Class Rank- Not given but reasonably expecting top 10% of 750 or so studentsExtracurricular (not all are school related, some are somewhat random so PLEASE no flaming over them): Will have one year of volunteering for Rescue Squad completed Totals a couple hundred hours of community service Will be taking or possibly even having finished taking my EMT classes which i expect to pass I am a black belt in TaeKwonDo I have an Advanced Open Water Scuba diving certification I have played the piano for 10 years (though i have quit recently I can still play adequately well) I am bilingual (Fluent in both Russian and English with Russian being my native tongue [I was born in Russia so the whole immigrant thing might help me]) I am a member of the National Honor Society I was Vice-President of the Russian Club in my school for 1 years I will be President of the Russian Club in my school for 2 years I am Vice-President of the Politics Club in my school and will be for 2 years I have worked a part-time job from Sophmore year through junior year and will also most likely work throughout all of senior yearLetters of Recommendation- I will have one amazing letter from my Chemistry teacher I will have two "good or better" letters from my Calculus teacher and my guidance councilorI think this is about it, I might have some minor awards from middle school such as being on the second place Academic Challenge team in eighth grade in the Jonas Salk competition and various first place awards from taking the Math Olympiad from sixth grade on.Please, serious opinions only (unless you have something extraordinarily funny to say, I love humor so.. yeah). I am a little nervous because despite the high EFC my parents do not have a lot of money and cannot afford sending me to a great school without any financial aid. Now I'm not saying Rutgers is a great school, but it is by no means a bad one. I plan on majoring in Neuroscience and take the Pre-med track so I figure if I can go to an above average undergrad school for free, then I can afford to go to a great medical school pending my MCAT scores which, though it is VERY early to say, I expect to be very decent.Again, thank you all for taking the time to read this and to give me your honest opinions about my chances at a full ride to Rutgers.

Your test scores are obviously excellent (no, a 34 is NOT considered bad!) and your extracurriculars are also good. However, with a 3.52 GPA, I would say you have a very small chance at a free ride. That is because only about 2% of students are in college on full scholarships nationally, and being in the top 10% isn’t enough to overcome that. Most schools use an index which combines your test scores and GPA to make the first cut, and then select from among those to make any merit awards. Also, many schools in this economy are shifting their aid as much as possible toward need-based scholarships, rather than merit-based scholarships, so if your FAFSA score isn’t helping you, your chances are reduced. All is not lost. While only 2% of students are in school on full scholarships, 50% or more are usually receiving aid, which can include work-study awards, loans, grants, etc. They will find a way for you to go to college, but it probably won’t be one which asks nothing of you in return.

i dont know how u did so good on the sat with that unweighted gpa and i dont know how u did so bad on the ACT with those SAT scores, however i am jealous of ur SAT scores.I think you chances are good, however colleges can be freaky sometimes [meaning they dont do what is expected with some applicants].
