Intro to my essay: Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespear is one of the most well known and celebrated plays in the world. So celebrated, in fact, that it is still performed in theaters and english classes to this day. Romeo and Juliet is a tale about two young teenagers Romeo Montegue and Juliet Capulet who fall in love, despite the ongoing fued between their two families. Because of this circle of hate within verona walls, they are forced to keep their love and eventually marriage a secret. Envision a young man who falls deeply in love with a girl, to the point where his life is only worth living if she's right there by his side. This is the kind of love Romeo felt for the young capulet throughout this play. Both would rather die than to find themselves without each others love. The differences between their world and the prejudice amongst their parents ultimatly lead to their timeless end . What really makes this story tragic will be explained throughout this essay.(6 page long essay about all the tragedies present in Romeo and Juliet)Conclusion paragraph: This play is a tragedy because two young, innocent lovers die by their own hand yet by no fault of their own. Fate, violence, prejudice, and betrayal are all precursors for this tragic ending. However, as two young lives end, a new life of Verona begins. The families are reconciled by their childrens death and agree to end their fued. The play ends with a speech from the prince "for never was a story of greater woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo"
