Anyone can help me out with Shakespears play, A Midsummer night’s dream?

I need to write an essay on this topics of the play. can someone help me out with this? PLEASE. i didnt even read the whole play. Thanks so much!4. While Theseus claims to be a rational creature who doesn’t believe in fairies, he is himself a central figure in the fairy story that is the play A Midsummer Night’s Dream. With this irony in mind, consider the play’s attitude towards rationality, fantasy, and the imagination. Paying close attention to the form, content and context of Theseus’ speech at the beginning of Act 5 (5.1.2-22), develop a thesis about the role of the imagination in Shakespeare’s play.

You *need* to read the play. Your teacher/tutor will know by reading your essay whether or not you’ve read the play and will grade you accordingly. This question is about imagination which is obviously very important when you are watching/reading a play about fairies and magic. You can look at the art of “suspension of disbelief” – how Shakespeare has constructed a play that allows us to put on hold our disbelief in fairies and enjoy the show (and how this is done). You could discuss how Oberon and Titania bicker like any human married couple, how the fairies play on very human hedonistic desires (Bottom and the food and fairy harem) – making them more human makes them more believable. You could also write about the way the human characters justify the adventure they have been on by saying they imagined/dreamed the whole thing. That should give you something to start on, but you do need to read the play. It’s personally one of my favourites and is definitely worth knowing well. Good luck
